Where to get bra making supplies

Sourcing fabrics and notions for bra making can be a bit more complicated than simply heading to your local fabric shop. We’ve rounded up a list of bra making shops from around the world to help you make your dream bra.

Cashmerette has two bra patterns designed to support and lift big boobs in band sizes 28-54 and cups C-J, all while looking absolutely fabulous (It’s a lot to ask of a bra, but they are up to the task!)  The Willowdale Bra is a full frame, underwire bra sewing pattern, while the Loftus Bralette is a non-underwire bralette sewing pattern.

As a curvy sewist, bra making can be a joyous and fulfilling adventure to embark on, but finding the supplies you need can be challenging at times. This post includes links to bra supply shops around but world, but we’ve also made it beyond easy to get supplies for your first Willowdale or Loftus by partnering up with bra shops to bring you dozens of bra kits! (Patterns are not included in kits.) These kits are sold and shipped by the stores from their websites.

Below is a list of where you can find bra making supplies. We’ve organized it by country/region, but most of these shops ship worldwide!

I’m in the US – I like LilyPaDesigns for supplies also.

Lily’s patterns are great for large cups, so I bet her kits would work for most sizes of the Willowdale. She’s also a great teacher – she does classes every year for the Bra Sewing Bee and I’ve heard good things about her online bra fitting and alteration course.

The ladies (and gentleman) at Sew Sassy are extremely helpful. I live nearby and they are always great about letting me pick up orders, even though they are no open for retail hours.
