Welcome to Shirt Making, Jeans Making, and Swimsuit Making for Curves!

It's so frustrating to shop for clothes when you've got a curvy figure; not only are there very limited options, but they rarely fit well. Sewing is an amazing way to make and wear whatever your heart desires, in your size! We created this bundle to help you feel prepared to face those more challenging projects you’ve been aspiring to make. Boost your confidence and get you ready to take on any sewing project that comes your way!

In Shirt Making for Curves, you’ll learn the fundamentals of shirt making in order to end up with a professional looking, well-fitting shirt. Button-down shirts are a classic wardrobe staple but are notoriously tricky to fit at the bust. That's why the Cashmerette Harrison Shirt has been designed with curves in mind, with cup sizes from C to Hand this course will take you step-by-step through the shirt-making process so you will have a beautifully sewn shirt that fits!

In Jeans Making for Curves, you'll learn a whole host of jeans making techniques which will help you make the jeans you've always dreamed of. Jeans can seem very intimidating to sew if you haven't tried beforeall that topstitching and hardware, not to mention using tools like a hammer which are usually far from the sewing room. However, jeans aren't actually that hard to sew when you know how! This course takes you step by step through everything you need to know, from preparing your pattern, denim and tools, through to special sewing techniques and how to install that hardware.

A great swimsuit has the power to help you feel your most confident best! In Swimsuit Making for Curves, I take you step by step through everything you need to know about sewing your underwired swimsuit, from picking the right fabrics and notions, to special sewing techniques, and working with spandex. Sewing your first swimsuit can be a bit intimidating, so that's why I designed this course; even if you're an adventurous sewing beginner, you can get a wonderful result.

These three courses each come with a coupon code for a free printed or PDF copy* of the Harrison Shirt, Ames Jeans, and Ipswich Swimsuit. Already have one or more of these patterns? Your coupon works on any other Cashmerette pattern!

"I just have to say how much I've thoroughly enjoyed this whole experiencefrom the pattern (which fits me so well!) to the [Shirt Making for Curves] class, to making my own shirts and Harrison dress. I can't seem to get enough of them! This has become my first true tried 'n' true pattern and course."

Jenny Rushmore

Hi, I'm Jenny! I founded Cashmerette because I was so frustrated with never being able to find clothes that fit my plus size, curvy body (hello, H cups!).

I learned to sew at the tender age of 30, excited by the potential of being able to make clothes that fit me, and also reflected my bold, print-loving style. But I immediately faced the same issue that I did with store-bought clothes: most of them didn’t come anywhere near to fitting me well, not least because most were designed for a B cup.

So I learned how to alter patterns and had the (literally!) life changing revelation: that I could change my clothes to fit my body, rather than changing my body to fit clothes.

And well, the rest is history! At Cashmerette we have the patterns, books, and workshops that I wish had existed when I learned to sew. This, here, is my life’s mission, and I’m so glad you’re along for the ride!

As for the rest of my life? Well, I live with my daughter just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, but I’m originally from the UK (still have the accent!), and am very familiar with the British Airways Boston-London flight schedules. When I get the time, I also love drawing, painting, and cooking fancy things.
