Pattern format

Layer up with the Cashmerette Fuller Cardigan! This raglan cardi has a totally fabulous fit for curves thanks to cup sizes from C – H, standard and full bicep sleeve pieces, and shoulder and bust darts.

We’ve nailed the fit, now it’s up to you to choose your style: view A hits at mid-hip with a deep, faced v-neck and oversized buttons for a casual layering piece that’s a great match for jeans or leggings, while View B is cropped at the natural waist with a boxier fit, fabulous for layering over fit and flare dresses or making your own retro-inspired twin set.

Whichever style you choose, the Fuller Cardigan is the layering piece your closet has been craving!

SIZING

12 to 32, in three cup sizes (C/D, E/F, G/H). Includes 40-62” bust and 42-62” hip. Find your size in seconds using our size calculator.

RECOMMENDED FABRIC

Mid-weight knit fabrics with at least 15% stretch.

Interfacing: light to mid-weight non-stretch fusible interfacing.

NOTIONS

Ballpoint or stretch needle, thread, 4 1” (2.5 cm) buttons [View A], 8 1⁄2” (12 mm) buttons [View B].

Finally sewed my Fuller Cardigan

I always look longingly at cashmere cardigans in stores, but I have a hard time finding the right size... they are either too big or too tight. But with the confidence I have gained from all the masterclasses I have access to at Cashmerette Club and the Fuller pattern, I finally sewed myself a cardigan that I love using a cashmere-effect double knit that I had been saving for this purpose for a long time. A big plus in my wardrobe because I can now use my summer dresses with my Fuller cardigan for fall and winter. Thank you Cashmerette!

A very flattering jacket

I have steered clear of raglen sleeves in the past as I am just not that fond of them but decided to give the fuller cardigan a go. I made it out of quite thick jersey (hence why I'm calling it a jacket) I have to say that the raglen sleeves are really very flattering and I'm am getting lots of compliments every time I wear it. I have many more of these planned in the future.

I've just been asked to write a review of the Fuller Cardigan. Funny that! I'm wearing it right now. I love this cardigan. I made it with a Mind The Maker Knit and I made the longer version. I haven't even sewn the bottonholes but will be doing that soon. I just am wearing it all the time. The instructions are very clear and the arms are not short at all (which is one of the problems I have with a lots of patterns).The corners are mitered very nicely and I know that I can used that same formula on other patterns. This was my first Cashmerette pattern and I will be looking to see what else they have to make.

Too much ease

I made a toile which didn’t work out. I’m sure I picked the right measurements and size, but there was somehow too much ease. I also need to make narrow shoulder adjustment but this is my own fault. Overall the instructions are great and I love the design!

Great Pattern

I love a great cardigan! The instructions are complete and easy to follow. A great staple in my memade wardrobe. My only comments for improvement is the v-neck style, pulls a lot on the top button (guess that is why we don't see photos of that version done up) - I made the front piece one size larger than that rest of the pieces so it's a better ease.
