I made the Grafton top while on holiday break and what I thought would be just a 'wear around the house' muslin is going to become a work staple! The top was easy to put together, the adjustments I made were easy to do with the Cashmerette club video for big belly modifications and it looks great.
I can't wait to work on the skirt next!

Not what I expected
I’ll definitely try again as I love the square neckline top but the dress I tried to make with the asymmetrical skirt didn’t do it for me.
The skirt part reached the floor on the long side (I’m 5’7”) so I cut off two inches and it was better but definitely not the look as shown on the pattern envelope. (Maybe the model is extra tall?) I consider this one a miss for me but I will definitely make the top as a separate.
Regardless, the idea of this dress is super-cute and I *may* try another skirt style but I was really looking forward to having a unique dress for the holidays. Next time.
Hi Vera! The models on the covers in the asymmetrical skirt are between 5'5' and 5'7' with unaltered length, however everyone's proportions are different so it's always possible that's why it sits differently on you. Also, if you use a jersey with a lot of vertical stretch it could also possibly be stretching out - I'd recommend using a fabric with minimal vertical stretch for the longer skirts on the Grafton.
