I am 62 and am picking up garment construction after about a 35 years hibernation. I've made only a handful of patterns for myself since middle school home economics and have never altered patterns. Look at me, feeling good about my large body for the first time in my life! I am very pleased with all the information, patterns, and just plain good vibes I find on Cashmerette.

I wasn't sure that this would be good for me. But I have been thrilled with the video content that is available for me to watch. I also get to see a new pattern each month added to my library. Now if I could sew up that new pattern each month that would be even better but now I have a list of future projects. I was able to do the sloper school this year and I think I have a bit better handle on my own fit issues.

This membership has been the greatest and I’ve taken advantage of the lovely free patterns and several purchased ones as well. It gives me so many possibilities to create but I procrastinated until I really needed a new dress for my Granddaughter’s High School Graduation this past June. After more procrastination I choose one the Upton Dress options. It turned out beautifully. I will post a picture as soon as I get one taken or a copy from my daughter taken as the graduation.

I was skeptical about purchasing a membership because I generally prefer not to do so. I can unequivocally say that the ALL ACCESS membership is one of the best things I have ever done to improve my sewing skills. This package is chock full of opportunities to improve sewing skills, on my schedule or live. The quality of the content is exceptional and there’s so many options! The patterns alone are worth the price of membership. Sloper School was another benefit and it was a game changer for me. The staff is extremely supportive and helpful too. I’ve recommended this membership to a number of new and returning garment sewists!

I'm relatively new to seeing and this jacket came together easily. I made a muslin and next step is to use fabric. The cashmerette bust size system made that fitting part so easy. The French seams were fun, too. So I'm not finished yet, but I'm on the way
